Raven's bracelet

We miss you, Raven.

These bracelets are a memorial to Raven Ashley Rud, who passed away from metastatic brain cancer earlier this year. They were made with love to honor her upcoming birthday on December 21.

They are faux suede, and they come in pink (a color Raven loved) and purple (one of her school's colors) or in all black. They feature a small wooden purple heart and a small silver raven charm. 100% of profits will be donated to Stand Up to Cancer, a foundation which works to accelerate innovative cancer research.

Heart of darkness

I get depressed sometimes. It's easy to get depressed here, where there is a perpetuity of gray, cold days and where dead trees line every sidewalk. I used to love rainy days, until I started having to walk through them. In London, frigidity becomes a matter of course.

Back to reality

Day 1: Sleep 14 hours. Make as big a mess as possible without properly unpacking. Set seven alarms for tomorrow morning.

Day 2: Sleep through all seven alarms. Miss both classes. Sleep more. Buy ice cream. Eat all the ice cream. Maintain mess.

Day 3: Miss train. Goof off during class. Eat more than necessary. Wear white tank top that is more see-through than you thought. Watch TV. Continue to sleep in excess.

Goal: Make Day 4 better than Days 1-3.

Nagging thought: You probably won't.

Miami

Pros:
- I get to drive.
- I get to see my family.
- I get to sleep in my own room.
- The weather is incredibly nice right now.
- My doggy is here.

Cons:
- I have to drive.
- I can't escape my family.
- I have to sleep in my own room.
- The weather is incredibly stifling most of the time.
- My cat isn't here.

Conclusion:
It can suck to be in Miami, but it can also suck to leave.
