Snow daze

I have never before had a winter like this. Days upon days of snowing, walking through silent flurries with my boyfriend, staring after dogs playing in the snow...all while the weather app on my phone reminds me of 80-degree days in Miami.

Heart of darkness

I get depressed sometimes. It's easy to get depressed here, where there is a perpetuity of gray, cold days and where dead trees line every sidewalk. I used to love rainy days, until I started having to walk through them. In London, frigidity becomes a matter of course.
